Government of Guinea Bissau to enter into Discussions with the UNTG over Public Strikes

The Government met with the representatives of the National Union of Guinean Workers (UNTG) last Friday afternoon in order to reach an agreement to put an end to the public strike that has been affecting the nation since the beginning of the year. The Government laid down the guidelines to answer to the protests related to the cancellation of public assignments not in line with the Statute of the Civil Service Staff.
